A tiny bookshop in Newtown packed to the brim with secondhand books, complete with a large fluffy dog, and an owner who knows exactly where he keeps everything.
I am always in the mood for a book, does anyone have any recommendations? :)
Looks stunning! :)

Hi lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog :) It's always nice to hear of other kiwi bloggers! I see you've been to Whangamata as well, such a small world moment. I'm originally from a beach near there - Waihi Beach, so I grew up going to Whanga a lot.
The quote on my blog that you really like is actually an exerpt from a Bono book called Bono on Bono which I definitely recommend reading if you can get your hands on a copy :) My blog has evolved a lot since it's early days so content like that doesn't always fit with the brand anymore, but I always hope that my faith shines through in other ways. And I always welcome a discussion about it on twitter, my formspring or via email :)
Hope you're having a great weekend!

Hey Amanda,
DeleteEven smaller world! I showed my boyfriend your blog and he knows you from church back in Hamilton, crazy!
Whangamata is gorgeous, I'd visit again in a heartbeat.
I will definitely get my hands on a copy of that book. I totally understand what you mean and I hope I haven't offended you by asking about it. Your faith does shine through your blog and you are doing an awesome job of it :)

There's just something about the smell of an old bookshop - that musty smell is strangely inviting! Lovely post. x
