The Weekenders

Our weekends are mini-golfing, they are pear picking, and berry crumbling.
Our weekends are flowers and dinosaur cookies, gardens, and friendventures.
Our weekends are perfect.

The Friends

The friends keep our smiles bright, they keep out spirits up, our dreams big.
They give us time, challenge us, comfort us.
They are worth more than time spent, or memories made, secrets held, or a commitment we keep.
They are precious, a necessity we wouldn't do without.

Cookies

To be honest I'm not that into taking photos of food, unless you are a cake baking queen or your food is imaculately presented I think its odd. And then here I am with food pictures. Basically so I can share with you the best choc chip cookie recipe that I have ever encountered.

List ONE
  • 2 Cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
List TWO
  • 170 g melted butter
  • 1 cup raw sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon golden syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
Preheat oven to 160 degrees C! pop everything from list TWO into a bowl and stir vigorously. Then sift in ingredients from list ONE (obviously you don't need to sift the choc chips. Roll them into little balls and squash them onto a greased or lined baking tray with a fork or something. Bake for 10ish minutes or until golden. (Our oven likes o burn things so i'm not 100% sure on timing but you'll be fine!

Nom them with your babe-as fiance who is amazing and brings you treats like olives and flowers.

Lucky Dip

I recently got this film developed from my Diana Mini, which I probably started using in November! So it's a bit of a random lucky dip! but I just love the surprises of film and double exposures, these are some of my faves.
